Why Can't I Buy A Car On Sunday??
Believe it or not, in Pennsylvania ,it's illegal to buy a car from a dealership on Sunday
There's a reason why Pennsylvania car dealerships are closed on Sunday: It would be illegal for them to sell you a car.
It's Pennsylvania's blue law -- a law designed to keep Sunday a day of rest. While many of those laws have been repealed, the one restricting the sale of vehicles remains.
Pennsylvania is one of only 17 remaining states that does not permit Sunday sales.
But if you want to sell that Chevy Nova in your driveway to someone on Craigslist on Sunday, feel free. The current law does not apply to private sellers.
