Did you know that pollen is as big of a threat to your vehicles paint as bird droppings?
Pollen sticks to the surface even if you keep it clean and slick. It leaves your vehicle with a green or yellow
coat that will eventually harm the surface if you leave it on for a long period of time. Unlike bird droppings, pollen is pretty easy to get off without using harsh methods that could harm your paint.
- What do you need?
- Water- Hose- Towel- Quick Spray Detail
- 1Spray the pollen off with water. Start on the roof and spray until the pollen is gone, then do the windshield, windows and rear window. Continue down so the pollen is rinsed off completely, not just moved from one area to another. A water hose with a nozzle that has a forceful spray is best.
- 2Dry most of the water off with a cotton towel. Some water can remain on.
- 3Spray quick detailer on one panel at a time. Wipe the detailer off using a microfiber towel. This removes any remaining pollen and creates a slick surface so pollen has a harder time sticking to the surface.
