At CarLotta Credit and Car Sales we believe that this tough economy does not have to be boring or ruled by your TV schedule. You and your kids can have fun, spend some time together and not spend a lot of money. Try these...
* Do you have a green thumb, or want to? Gardening is inexpensive, fun with kids of all ages and can be beautiful if you plant flowers and bushes, or healthy if you plant vegetables or tomatoes. You do not need a lot of space. Live in an apartment? Try window boxes. A small yard, use some scrap lumber and make a few outside boxes in your yard.
* Camp in your backyard or a local campground. Pick a nice night and you do not even need a tent. Tell stories, look at the stars and talk.
* Check out UTube with your kids. Look for the funny PG rated videos and see who can find the funniest.
* Do a Garage Sale and raise extra money. The set up and running of a sale is a great activity for kids.
* How about a weekly family day? Each one could be a little different. For example, one could be playing cards or card games. Another would be board games. How about an art night with some painting, cutting out things or making funny posters. Use your imagination.
Someone once said that, the best thing you can spend on your kids and each other... is your time.
All these activities have one thing in common. You will be spending more time with your kids.
