What Color Vehicle Do You Drive?

The color vehicle that  you drive actually says a lot about who you are to your friends, family, co-workers and  potential dates.  The COLOR vehicle that  you drive can have as much impact on that "first impression" as the make and model.
Below is a snapshot of what your vehicle  color is broadcasting about you:

A RED vehicle  indicates that you are a passionate person.

An ORANGE vehicle  says  you most likely crave attention.

If you drive a YELLOW  vehicle  you are confident.

The person who chooses a GREEN vehicle  is conscientious.

If your vehicle  is DARK BLUE you are likely a very loyal person.

If your vehicle  is LIGHT BLUE you are serene and peaceful.

If you have found a PURPLE vehicle  you are a cherished individual who loves beauty, but walks with strength and purpose.

If you have a PINK vehicle you like to be treated with a soft touch.

If you have a BROWN vehicle  that signifies that you are reliable.

If you have a BLACKvehicle you are sending the message that you are in control and are self-assured.

A WHITE  vehicle  shows that you pay attention to detail.

A GRAY vehicle represents   stability and self-reliance.

SILVER Vehicles  represent prestige, wealth and luxury.

A GOLD vehicle  represents wealth and pride.

If you are thinking about buying a new or pre-owned vehicle you may want to  consider buying one in a color to match your individual personality!

How Long Do You Let Your Vehicle Warm Up?

Today's vehicles have computer driven performance systems that compensate for outdoor temperatures and cold engines. Vehicles  need to be warmed up, but this can be done on the road and after driving only a short distance. Most cars can be driven within 30 seconds of being started.

Rather than idling, your vehicle should be "warmed up" by driving slowly and gently at first. The engine will warm up to its optimum operating temperature more effectively while in motion, meaning a vehicle may be driven almost as soon as it is started.

Modern engines function well within 30 seconds of being started. Idling for extended periods of time only wastes fuel and puts unnecessary stress on the engine. This may actually damage the engine, as fuel does not fully combust while idling.

Are You Really Ready For This Winter Weather ?

Here we go..... We're  in the grip of the Winter season. Savvy NEPA residents  know, the moment you let your guard down, the cold and snow will move in faster than you can say 10-below.  We found some great information  that will help keep you safe during the winter months.

The following are some  steps you can take now to avoid issues on the road when the snow flies.
  • Have your radiator serviced and check the antifreeze level.  Add antifreeze as needed.
  • Replace your windshield wipers fluid with a wintertime mixture.
  • Replace worn tires and check the air pressure in the tires.
  • Keep the gas tank near full to avoid ice in the tank and fuel lines.

Don't forget to be sure to stock up on emergency supplies (communication, food, safety, heating) in case you find yourself stranded in your car during a major Winter storm.
